Delivery Driver (Part Time) — Position Summary:
The Hopewell Brewing Company is growing and in need of a part-time driver to deliver product to accounts and transfer product between our warehouses. Potential for full-time employment given job performance and sales growth.
About Us:
The Hopewell Brewing Company is a progressive craft brewery located in Logan Square Chicago. We operate a taproom and brewery and distribute in Illinois, Michigan, New York, Tennessee, and Texas.
The Role:
- 16 – 24 hours, Estimated Schedule of Tuesday-Friday 9a-2p
- Timely completion of delivery routes, including management of customer delivery windows.
- Collection of payment at time of delivery.
- Safe navigation of Hopewell distribution area with large delivery van & box truck.
- Provide excellent customer service to all of our accounts.
- Identify and report quality control issues in the field.
- Coordination with sales team and Distribution Manager to service account needs.
- The Delivery Driver is often the face of Hopewell to our accounts and is expected to conduct themselves as such. The person who fills this role must be organized, detail oriented, and able to keep a neat workspace.
- Finished product transfers to the secondary warehouse with delivery van or box truck. Using a seated forklift to load and electric pallet jack to unload.
- Additional warehouse related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record
- Able to lift 160 lbs
- Forklift certification preferred but Hopewell will provide training
- Must pass background check
- Must be 21+

Compensation: $21/hr
